- Consider the impact of potential frauds;
- Assess the scale/likelihood of the risk of fraud occurring;
- Identify/evaluate the adequacy of existing controls to mitigate the risk;
- Implement revised controls/action plan for the future, and
- Monitor and Review the impact of actions.
