Tip 3 – Invoice Fraud Warning

To help prevent fraudsters redirecting payments to their bank account why not put the following simple warning at the bottom of all your invoices. That way you can remind your customers and clients that you will never advise them of a change of bank details by email.

Please be aware that there is a significant risk posed by fraud, specifically affecting email accounts and bank account details.

NOTE: we will never notify you of a change of bank details by email. If you receive any communication regarding a change of our bank details please contact us immediately. We are also unable to accept notification of your bank details, or a change to your bank details, by email.
